This includes marketing Kaminski services to potential clients or leads, inspection of projects and sites for the development of cost estimates in a format suitable for use by Clients, Project Managers as well as the project team.&nbsp;An Estimator must be able to balance analytics, site logistics, building codes and blueprint interpretation as well as client, subcontractor, and production team needs, while utilizing excellent communication skills to successfully maintain positive relationships.&nbsp; Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: <ul><li>Estimate residential, multifamily and at times commercial construction jobs.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop detailed scopes of work for projects in collaboration with customers both internal and external.&nbsp;</li><li>Soliciting and leveling bids from subcontractors</li><li>Preparation and development of construction as well as project phase expenditure schedules including take-offs.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in sales team projects and events to generate new leads and develop new or potential markets.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintaining Subcontractor relationships</li><li>Participating in project economic evaluations</li><li>Perform labor and material cost analysis to determine market opportunity and viability for potential new Kaminski products or services.</li><li>Utilize spreadsheets, scheduling software, and database cost-estimating software to produce high quality proposals and bids proficiently and consistently.&nbsp;</li></ul> Required Qualifications: <ul><li>Three (3) years of experience as an Estimator</li><li>Competence with analysis, numeration, and research</li><li>Proficient with spreadsheets, scheduling software, and database cost-estimating software</li><li>Must have a valid driver's license</li><li>Very detail-oriented</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Working knowledge and understanding of multiple skilled trades relevant to the residential construction industry</li><li>Proficiency in written and verbal communication</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision</li></ul>Benefits: <ul><li>Employer matching contribution retirement plan</li><li>PTO (paid time off)</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>Health Reimbursement Account</li><li>Gym Membership</li><li>Aflac Supplemental Insurance (various plans)</li><li>The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm (Hours may vary as they are subject to change as needed, but this is the standard day-to-day schedule).</li><li>4 day work weeks.</li></ul>Salary: <ul><li>$65,000 per year base, plus commission.</li></ul> About us: Kaminski Construction is a full service, a family-owned general contracting business based in Eugene, Oregon. We landed our first job and began to grow, as other construction companies were laying workers off. We have continued to grow and expand our services and now field a crew of about 50 employees.
