<h1 style="margin-bottom: 6pt; margin-top: 24pt;">Journeyman Carpenter</h1>(No Recruiters)Kaminski Construction - Eugene, ORPay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time, W-2 Schedule: Monday-Friday, with overtime and occasional overnight travel as needed<h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Position Summary</h2>Kaminski Construction is seeking an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to oversee residential and commercial construction and renovation projects. This position requires strong carpentry skills, leadership experience, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate crews and communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with framing, interior and exterior renovations, job site supervision, and maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.<h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Lead and supervise on-site construction crews</li><li>Perform and oversee framing, renovation, and finish carpentry work</li><li>Ensure projects are completed according to scope, schedule, and quality standards</li><li>Coordinate daily with Project Managers and subcontractors</li><li>Verify measurements, installations, and overall workmanship</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site</li><li>Complete daily progress updates, timesheets, and project documentation</li><li>Identify material, equipment, and tool needs for projects</li><li>Communicate changes in scope or unexpected job site conditions</li><li>Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines</li><li>Provide project photos and updates throughout project duration</li><li>Operate tools and equipment safely and professionally</li><li>Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and organization</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Qualifications</h2><ul><li>5+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred</li><li>Experience leading or supervising crews preferred</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record required</li><li>Ability to read measurements and follow construction plans and specifications</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Basic computer and mobile app experience preferred</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Physical Requirements</h2><ul><li>Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and work outdoors for extended periods</li><li>Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and active construction environments</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Employer-matched contribution retirement plan</li><li>PTO (paid time off)</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>Health Reimbursement Account</li><li>Gym Membership</li><li>Aflac Supplemental Insurance (various plans)</li><li>The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm (Hours may vary as they are subject to change as needed, but this is the standard day-to-day schedule).</li><li>4 day work weeks.</li></ul>About us: Kaminski Construction is a full service, a family-owned general contracting business based in Eugene, Oregon.
